It takes some effort to upstage the bride when the wedding bill is an eye-watering £250million, but Kim Kardashian very nearly managed it on Saturday evening.
The TV personality was among guests as Anant Ambani, the son of India‘s richest man, exchanged vows with pharmaceuticals heiress Radhika Merchant in a star-studded ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
After arriving in a traditional outfit for the wedding ceremony, Kim – who was accompanied by younger sister Khloé – conjured images of Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine in a stunning red gown and matching cape.
The reality TV star, 43, rounded off the look with emerald green jewels from Lorraine Schwartz, among them rings, earrings and an intricately designed headpiece.
Kim rubbed shoulders with an array of guests during the ceremony, including Britain’s former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, his wife Carrie and their children.

The glamorous, long-awaited event is reported to have cost around a staggering £250million – without taking into account the couple’s estimated £100million accumulation of luxury wedding gifts and the hosting of several of the world’s most followed A-list celebrities.
In more pictures from the wedding scenes show the bride draped in a heavy cream and red Indian bridal dress – called a lengha, adorned in jewels and a beaded headscarf as she holds hands with her new husband, Anant.
The happy groom was pictured beaming down at his new wife while donning a red beaded jacket – called a nehru – as the pair tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony.
As one of the biggest weddings India has ever seen, police closed roads around the venue.
Kim had previously dazzled in a traditional lehenga skirt adorned with intricate beaded detailing, while sister Khloé stunned in a dramatic pink ensemble.
As Kim and Khloé, 40, prepared to travel to the wedding’s ‘divine blessings’ ceremony, the sisters were hard to miss in their extravagant outfits.
On Friday, the sisters were spotted joining in with the pre-wedding celebrations; with the SKIMS founder making a bold move by slipping into a bridal white ensemble ahead of the grand nuptials.
Taking to Instagram, Kim shared a glimpse of her glamorous wedding look, which consisted of a white off-the-shoulder crop top and a matching skirt as she and Khloé boarded a rickshaw to head to the ceremony.
