Kevin Spacey revealed he is back to filming an unknown project in Phoenix for the first time since his sexual assault trial acquittal one year earlier

The House Of Cards actor, 65 – who ‘refuses to leave’ his $5.6 million Baltimore mansion after it was sold under foreclosure – uploaded a photo of himself onto X while on set.

The star – who had been found not guilty on nine sexual assault charges at London’s Southwark Crown Court – could be seen sitting on a horse around what appeared to be a desert landscape.

Spacey wore a pair of tan-colored pants as well as a long, black coat and hat placed on top of his head. For a finishing touch, he also sported a red scarf that loosely wrapped around his neck.

In the caption, Kevin penned, ‘A little beaten up but honored to be back on the horse. On location in Phoenix. @piersmogran.’

Spacey tagged Morgan in his latest post just months after he appeared on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored.

During the interview at the time, the actor had notably broken down in tears while revealing he doesn’t have any money and is also being forced to sell his home.

After he uploaded the picture to X, social media users jumped to the comment section to share their thoughts, with one labeling his return to acting as ‘disgusting.’

And another follower typed out, ‘Horse! Stomp twice if you need us to call the police.’

However, other fans offered positive messages to Spacey, with one writing, ‘glad to see you back king.’

‘What a great photo. Excited for the project your working on,’ one said, while another social media user added, ‘The most brilliant news!!’

Another shared, ‘Looking forward to seeing your new work,’ and one penned, ‘Great to see you back on the horse and filming. Looking forward to seeing you take on the wild west @KevinSpacey.’

His latest post comes a little over one year after Spacey said he is ‘humbled’ after being cleared of sexually assaulting four men following a high-profile trial in which Sir Elton John gave evidence in his defense

The Oscar winner was overcome with emotion when the jury at London’s Southwark Crown Court returned not guilty verdicts on all counts.

Spacey was accused of abusing his fame and power to carry out nine sex attacks on four men during his tenure as artistic director of the Old Vic theatre. But he insisted the claims were ‘madness’ and accused the claimants of ‘lying for money.’

On the steps of the court after the verdicts were delivered, he thanked the jury, his legal team as well as his loyal manager and longtime friend Evan Lowenstein for standing by him.

He said, ‘I imagine that many of you can understand that there’s a lot for me to process after what has just happened today.’

‘But I would like to say that I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts, carefully, before they reached their decision.’

‘I am humbled by the outcome today. I also want to thank the staff inside this courthouse, the security, my legal team and Evan Lowenstein for being here every day.’

The allegations not only shredded what had been a glittering showbiz career but also had major financial implications.

He had been ordered to pay $31 million to House Of Cards production company, MRC, for alleged sexual misconduct while on set of the series, per Variety.

But in a settlement, Kevin was ordered to only pay $1 million to the production company.

And earlier this year in June following the court case, Spacey took part in an emotional interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

He explained that he was near bankruptcy due to paying high legal fees – and that his home in Baltimore had been put up for auction. The house was later sold for a discount at the foreclosure auction.

‘I’m not quite sure where I’m going to live now, but I have been in Baltimore since we started shooting House of Cards there.’

Kevin explained that he owes ‘many millions’ and stated, ‘Well I mean, you have some sense of legal bills. I still owe a lot of legal bills that I have not been able to pay.’

During the candid interview, Spacey admitted that he had also been on a plane with Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Clinton and also ‘young girls.’

He explained that he had been invited to South Africa for a humanitarian mission to bring awareness to HIV and AIDS.

‘It was primarily to raise awareness and prevention for AIDS, and particularly for mothers who had HIV to get the medication they needed to not pass it onto their children, so I said yes, absolutely.’

Kevin said that he has ‘since learned who [Epstein] is’ and also that the ‘airplane that we flew on for this humanitarian mission was owned by Jeffrey Epstein.’

He further stated that in regards to Jeffrey, ‘I didn’t know him. I have never spent any time with him.’

‘I didn’t want to be around this guy because I felt he put the president at risk on that trip to South Africa, because there were these young girls. We were like, “Who is this guy?”‘

Later in the interview, the actor denied that he had traveled to Epstein’s Caribbean island.

‘There’s a big difference between not remembering that I met some guy and some woman on a humanitarian trip where my focus was entirely on what we were there to do, and not remembering whether I went to somebody’s island.’

Since the end of the trial, Spacey has been putting his focus on rebuilding his career in the industry.

Back in July, the star taught a masterclass in Armenia – and has other projects under his belt, such as the film titled The Contract, although plot details have remained under wraps.
