Summer is almost here, which can only mean one thing: vacation time is nigh! To kick off the season of travel, Kendall, Kylie and Kris Jenner embarked on a getaway to Mallorca this weekend – and the sisters’ respective holiday wardrobes were much documented on their Instagram feeds. Kendall carried a particularly eye-popping bag for her flight home. This wasn’t your standard carry-on luggage: the model carted one of fashion’s most luxurious (and enormous!) bags onto her private plane. And no, it wasn’t an Hermès Birkin bag or a Louis Vuitton duffel – it was Phoebe Philo, okay?
Philo, the former creative director of Celine, has a history of creating It-bags (remember the Phantom?), so it’s no surprise that her new eponymous label, launched last year, has a big focus on accessories. Also unsurprisingly, they are all very luxurious. Jenner carried Philo’s XL Cabas tote in toffee suede, with black leather lining. If you want to get your hands on the perfectly slouchy, spacious design, be warned: it retails for a cool £6,200. But at least it’s practical. Per the Phoebe Philo website, it measures 41cm x 57.5cm x 27.5cm, meaning it’s certainly a roomy enough bag for schlepping to work or to the airport, à la Jenner. You could fit several footballs in there – and perhaps a medium-sized dog, too!
