On any other night it might have been Kate Moss in a leotard that commanded attention, but on Tuesday it was the man walking alongside her who claimed the spotlight.
The supermodel was joined by a hitherto unknown male companion during a night out at London’s Playhouse Theatre, where they paid a visit to the popular Kit Kat Club.
Kate, 50, ensured she stood out by wearing a black leotard that accentuated her slender physique as she watched close friend Cara Delevingne deliver her latest performance as sally Bowles in Cabaret.
She rounded off the look with black sheer tights, while a matching coat was elegantly draped across her shoulders as she made her way onto the street later that night.
A source told The Sun: ‘Inside, Kate had been with Poppy, Cara’s older sister, but she left with her male friend. They came out together and were laughing and joking together.

‘But they parted like the Red Sea when they realised they’d been spotted. Kate’s driver was waiting and they both got in the car and left.
‘She looked as though she’d had a great night but didn’t seem keen to be seen with him in public.’
Kate’s male companion, who appeared to be in his 20s, was dressed smartly with a black trench coat worn over a loose-fitting pin-stripe suit.
New Balance trainers gave the look a casual flourish, while his long centre-parted hair partially concealed his features.
Kate’s latest appearance comes just weeks after she was pictured holding hands with singer Skip Marley – the grandson of late reggae icon Bob Marley – during a trip to Turkey.
The supermodel became so excited at a performance by Marley that she ran on stage and had to be ushered away by guards.
Skip, 27, did not appear to be too perturbed by her passionate enthusiasm as he was later seen holding hands with the catwalk icon, who is understood to be in a long-term relationship with British photographer Count Nikolai von Bismarck.
‘Kate ran on stage as she loved it so much,’ a spectator told the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden. ‘

She was escorted off the stage by security. I don’t know whether there’s a “thing” [between the pair] but she’s a fan for sure. It was all very sweet and non-confrontational.’
Marley was performing at the launch of cultural festival Med Bodrum at the Turkish holiday resort’s Macakizi hotel, where the model is known to have stayed in the past.
Other artists to feature in the festival include Marina Abramovic and British photographer Alistair Guy.
Moss, who is a regular visitor to Bodrum, was accompanied by her close friend Rosemary Ferguson, 48, a model-turned-nutritionist.
Joining them was Rose’s husband, the artist Jake Chapman, and photographer Mariano Vivanco.
But there was no sign of Moss’s long-term boyfriend, whose chemistry with the model looked strained during their next public appearance at a Gucci presentation in London.
