Kate meets Southport families in first engagement since cancer

The Princess of Wales has carried out her first public engagement since her cancer diagnosis as she travelled to Southport to meet the families of the three children who were killed in the July attack and the emergency workers who fought to save them.

Kate, 42, joined the Prince of Wales to spend an hour and a half speaking to the families of Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine.

They were stabbed to death as they attended a Taylor Swift-themed dance and yoga class.
