Kate Beckinsale has hit back at followers who have criticised her choice to wear ‘ridiculous’ big bows.
The actress, 50, often showcases her bold dress sense by wearing a large black bow on her head in social media snaps.
And in the comment section of her recent Instagram post, one person wrote: ‘Please take that ridiculous bow off.’
Kate didn’t hold back when she replied: ‘As I said before, take that expression off your bitter a** face. Unless you can’t. In which case, condolences.’
Another user commented that the oversized bow made the actor look like ‘a toddler in a pageant,’ to which she said: ‘Lucky old me.’

It comes after she fired back at fans who said she looks ‘too thin’ following a recent health scare.
In the two pictures posted to her Instagram Stories, Kate looked stunning in soft makeup that gave her visage a natural-looking glow.
She wore textured hoop earrings as she sat in a black and silver director’s chair.
Thin tree branches with green leaves and purple flowers fell in front of her in the pretty snaps.
Also on Wednesday, Beckinsale shared a behind-the-scenes look as she had hair and makeup done on the set of her new film.
She spoke in Italian as her hairstylist tended to her locks while she sat in a makeup chair in front of a mirror.

The star has been occupied working on a new feature film, which she has documented on social media.
Kate will star alongside Scott Eastwood in Stolen Girl, which is based on the real story of Maureen Dabbagh, a mother who spent years tracking down her daughter after she was abducted by the child’s father.
It’s being directed by James Kent and pre-production is taking place in Southern Italy’s Puglia region.
Earlier this month the actress was prompted to respond to fans who made comments about her weight on Instagram.
When one person wrote under a post, ‘What happened to you? You used to be gorgeous,’ the silver screen siren clapped back.
‘I have been really sad. I watched my second dad die. It made me sick. Sorry you find me less attractive. I couldn’t give a f***,’ Kate replied.
Fans have been worried since Kate recently posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed

She continued to hit back, writing, ‘I nursed my [stepdad] to his death early this year.
‘My mum also has stuff going on. I am adjusting to watching two fathers die, one when I was 5, one in January of this year,’ she added.
Earlier this year she lost her stepfather Roy Battersby after a brief illness. Beckinsale was also the one to find her biological father Richard’s body after he died from a heart attack when she was young.
