Justin Bieber appeared to be in good spirits while out with his wife Hailey Bieber just a week after his longtime collaborator Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested on sex trafficking charges.
The Peaches hitmaker, 30, and model and beauty mogul Hailey, 27, were seen emerging from Nobu on Wednesday night after enjoying a swanky dinner together.
It’s said the couple, who married in 2018, spent two hours inside the California restaurant and it looks as though it was a pleasant evening with Justin flashing a rare smile as he walked out flanked by security guards.
Hailey was also seen smiling as the couple sat in their car wearing matching sunglasses. Earlier in the evening, they were seen attending church together in Los Angeles wearing completely different outfits, with Justin in a red hoodie which was unzipped to reveal his tattooed torso, and Hailey covered up in an oversized leopard print coat.
It was likely a rare chance for the stars to enjoy date night after welcoming their first child, a baby boy, in August.
However, it also comes just a week after Diddy, 54, was indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The hip hop mogul was taken into custody in New York on September 17 and was refused bail twice despite offering a $50million (£37.4million) bond.
The allegations include that Diddy coerced multiple alleged victims into sex acts, known as ‘freak offs’. He allegedly organised and directed the orgies and is accused of ‘directing, masturbating during, and often electronically recording’ them.
It’s said these ‘freak offs’ ‘occurred regularly, sometimes lasted multiple days, and often involved multiple commercial sex workers’. He has denied the allegations.
Since then, photos and videos have resurfaced of various celebrities partying with Diddy over the years, while other footage has revealed uncomfortable moments with the Bad Boy Records rapper, including Justin.
A disturbing throwback clip shows Diddy with a then-15-year-old Justin while hanging out at the mogul’s house. Diddy tells the camera that he’s been given ‘custody’ of Bieber for ‘48 hours’ before asking Justin what he wants to do, to which the popstar responds, ‘Let’s go get some girls.’
‘Man after my heart,’ the rapper responds. ‘That’s what I’m talking about.’
Another clip, taken in 2010 when Bieber was 16, shows the young singer stuttering and looking uncomfortable as Diddy asks him why he doesn’t hang out with him anymore.
They maintained a friendship over the years and Justin even collaborated on Diddy’s song Moment on his The Love Album: Off the Grid released last year.
Concerns have grown for Justin in the wake of the allegations and Diddy’s arrest, with insiders claiming he has shut himself away.
A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Bieber is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it so he has shut off.
‘So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him. Justin hasn’t been responding on this since the home raids. He’s not going to.’
They also added that Justin deeply regrets their 2023 collaboration, and wouldn’t have done it if he’d known the allegations which have since come to light.
They continued: ‘He had a long break from Diddy when he believes most of this took place and he had distanced himself from him.
‘He was featured on Diddy’s most recent album, and had he known any of this, there is no way he would have done it.’
