Zynga: The Star Wars: Hunters maker has made two new hires in Danielle Davis and Amir Shapira. Davis returns to the company as director of talent acquisition, having previously worked at Zynga for over four years between 2018 and 2022. She returns from Amazon’s games and music division.
Shapira has been hired as director of product management after two years heading up monetisation and CRM for Wildlife Studios. He has also worked at Huuuge Games and Playtika.
Scopely: The Monopoly Go creator has appointed Mike Seavers as its new senior vice president of technology. He has previously worked in similar positions at Yuga Labs, Epic Games and Riot Games. Juame Castells Colomer has also joined as senior product manager following a four-and-a-half-year stint at Socialpoint.
Wooga: The German developer has hired Souvik Biswas as a senior game designer. He joins from Zynga, where he spent almost three years, and has also worked at GSN Games.
Tactile Games: The casual puzzle specialist has made a suite of hires in the last month. Jacob Krüger has been hired as chief marketing officer, following a stint working at FunPlus as director of marketing.
Szymon Stankiewicz has been hired as a QA tester, having previously worked as a QA team leader for Qloc and as technical operations specialist at Moon Active. Also joining the quality assurance department is QA engineer Kristián Kovalský, who was previously a full-stack developer at Danish wellness firm Pleaz.
Nikolaj Holm Christensen has joined as a graphic designer from Sybo, where he was a creative lead and senior graphic designer, and Camille Le Souffaché has been hired as a 2D game artist, having previously worked at Umami and Riot Games, among others. Finally, Salih Ugur Kimilli has been hired as data architect.
TapNation: The publisher has announced a slew of new hires. Segun Sojobi has joined as Unity developer having previously worked at Microsoft and Wildlife Studios, and Carolina Gomes joins as brand sales manager after graduating from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.
Antoine Nisoli has been hired as a Unity developer having held a similar role at AppCorneille, and Martin Kovac has come on board as UA specialist from StarBerry Games. JD Vargas has joined as a junior SDK engineer intern, while Tara Kunjie Dong rounds off the new hires as a UI/UX artist.
Sandsoft: The developer and publisher has made two new hires in Cathal O’Sullivan and James Quick. O’Sullivan joins as ad monetisation lead having previously worked at Omada, Vela and Unity. Quick has been hired as a senior 3D artist, joining from Australian iGaming firm IGT.
Adjoe: The mobile adtech platform has hired Thorsten Wiesner as VP revenue for EMEA and Hanna Mysiorska as director of supply partnerships for EMEA.
Wiesner has spent most of his recent career working in brand partnerships for Axel Springer’s Bild newspaper. Mysiorska, meanwhile, joins from the cashback platform MillionPugs, where she worked on its gaming partnerships business.
Supergaming: The Indian games firm has hired Amitkumar Shinde as a senior marketing manager. He joins from Krafton, where he worked as a marketing manager on titles including Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Raptor: The public relations outfit has hired Greg Cartwright as an associate director. He joins with 18 years of industry experience, most recently as senior international PR manager for engine giant Unity.
Innogames: The German developer and publisher has promoted Sebastian Goldt to the position of chief marketing officer. He has worked at Innogames since 2012, most recently as director of growth.
Newzoo: The data specialist has promoted Michiel Buijsman from senior market analyst to principal market analyst. He joined the company back in 2017.
