Jimmy Uso has been off WWE television since April when he was kicked out of The Bloodline shortly after dropping a match to his twin brother Jey at WrestleMania 40. There was a report he was dealing with an undisclosed injury, but otherwise it just seemed like WWE was biding its time until they reached a point in the Samoan Dynasty saga when it made sense to bring Jimmy back.
But then this afternoon (Sept. 18), Jimmy, Jey & Solo Sikoa’s father Rikishi posted this on X/Twitter, causing a great deal of concern for Jimmy (real name Jonathan Fatu):
Dear GOD for strength & health to continue #JimmyUso #wwe #Bloodline #Anoai #Fatu
Stay prayed for my boy #JonathanFatu
It prompted Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp to reach out to his WWE sources, who told Sapp that they’d spoken to Jimmy, and he’s “fine”. Sapp has been unable to learn more about what led to the WWE Hall of Famer’s message.
In following up with people in WWE, they say that they’ve spoken to Jimmy Uso, who says he’s fine.
I don’t have any further context beyond that

Oddly enough, that’s exactly how Rikishi described his son on the episode of his Off The Top podcast that dropped on Sept. 6:
“Jimmy’s doing fine. I think at any given moment, hopefully that Jimmy will be ready to come back to be able to do what he loves…
“I’m sure he misses the fans and I’m sure you all miss Jimmy so… He’s doing great. He’s got some time to be able to rest the body, rest the mind, and he’s ready to go, so, hopefully we’re able to see Jimmy soon.”
We’ll pass along any additional information about Jimmy or his father’s tweet as we have it.
