A frequent flyer has moved to share five items you need to thrive in economy class. Jet2, Ryanair, Easyjet and TUI passengers jetting abroad this summer have been urged to pack “five things” when travelling for their summer trip abroad.

TikTok user @findingfiona shared her essential flight must-haves that greatly improved her recent 14-hour flight and explained: “Colgate mini disposable toothbrushes”. She said they “make your mouth feel so minty and fresh”.

The second item was a good quality suncream. “I love it because then you don’t have to touch your face”, she explained. Her third recommendation was “noise cancellation headphones” and “you don’t hear anything on the plane” and they boast a “30-hour battery life”.

The fourth essential item for an economy flight, according to Fiona, is a lip sleeping mask. “Your lips will feel so good after”, she claimed. In fifth and final spot was her inflatable travel pillow, which she places on the seat in front of her for maximum comfort.

“You just blow it up and it helps you sleep like a baby”, she said. “That pillow is amazing in so many different ways. If you don’t inflate it all the way it’s great for lumbar support or if you get the row to yourself,” wrote a viewer in reply.

“I have that pillow and I was told by emirates twice that I cant use it, anyone know why??” a fan asked. “The pillow gave me neck and back pain after sleeping a few hours on it,” another wrote. “were you able to wear your headphones through the entire airport or do they have to be packed away?” another asked.

And another said: “That pillow is amazing in so many different ways. If you don’t inflate it all the way it’s great for lumbar support or if you get the row to yourself.”
