Jennifer Lopez used the Fourth of July to catch up on her gardening.
Accompanied by her manager Benny Medina, the actor stepped out in New York to browse some greenery ahead of the long weekend. As she picked out six rose bushes to bring home, she dressed the part in a pastoral ensemble complete with woven straw accessories.
For the outdoor occasion, Lopez wore a short-sleeved button-up with an alternating white floral pattern and light blue stripes. The delicate top also featured white accents at the bust and frills at the collar and sleeve hems. She styled the look with high-rise tan trousers, which pleated at the hips and flaunted a slightly cropped fit to show off her footwear of choice, a pair of brown leather thong sandals.
In one well-manicured hand, J.Lo carried a tan woven bag with sculptural floral details. While the bag’s raffia material added to her humble look, its Christian Dior label (and $4,900 price tag) reminded everyone just who they were dealing with. Lopez paired the purse with a matching woven hat to shade her eyes from the sun, and completed her outfit with large gold hoops.
While the Atlas actor picked out plants on the East Coast, her husband Ben Affleck celebrated Fourth of July across the country in Santa Monica. There, he grabbed breakfast with his two oldest children Violet and Fin, whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner. He dressed up for the occasion in tan slacks and a blue button-up, putting his own spin on the look with a pair of red-and-blue camouflage Nike Dunk sneakers.
