Jenna Coleman has welcomed her first child with her boyfriend Jamie Childs, as the new parents were seen taking their little one on a stroll in North London at the weekend.

The actress, 38, looked fashion forward as she was spotted for the first time since giving birth, wearing a red cardigan and jeans under a brown bomber jacket.

Sporting a quilted Chanel handbag and coordinating black sunglasses, the Doctor Who star pushed a pram alongside her partner.

Meanwhile, Jamie, 35, cradled the couple’s little one to his chest in a baby carrier, with the newborn’s feet being seen poking out, clad in bright pink socks.

The director sipped on a coffee as he chatted to Jenna, sporting an all-black ensemble of a jacket, jeans and a plain T-shirt.

Jenna first revealed her pregnancy in June as she debuted her baby bump at a dinner at Chatsworth House.

She has not yet made any announcement that she has given birth, but has taken to her social media frequently to share glimpses into her pregnancy journey with her fans.

Jenna and Jamie met back in 2020 on the set of the first season of Netflix show, The Sandman, where she played Johanna Constantine and he directed several episodes.

The couple were first romantically linked in December 2021, before they were spotted together for the first time the following February.

They were photographed on a stroll in Islington smiling and holding hands, just days after they were seen outside her £2.2million home as furniture was moved in.

They went on to work together again on Jamie’s first film Jackdaw, with Jenna playing a lead character called Bo.

However, the pair work to keep their relationship private, with their public appearances together being rare and Jenna having never spoken publicly about their romance.

But earlier this year, Jenna and Jamie sparked speculation that they had taken their relationship to the next level after being seen wearing a ring on her wedding finger in January.

On a stroll together in north London, Jenna could be seen sporting a chunky gold band, while walking hand-in-hand with Jamie, who tenderly stroked her hair at several points.

While it didn’t mark the first time she’d been seen wearing the ring, she usually wore it on a different finger – leading to speculation that the move was significant.

Meanwhile, Jenna previously joked that she has been cast as a mother so many times she has ‘no noises left’ for any future childbirth scenes.

The Queen Victoria star once said: ‘I’ve done so many labour scenes I’ve got no noises left. I don’t know what to do any more.

‘They’ve got to stop having me in labour. I haven’t even had children yet, I don’t know what I’m doing.’

She fretted about playing a mother in the BBC‘s 2018 psychological mystery The Cry, revealing that she messaged friends with children to get a better insight into what motherhood entails.

After it aired Jenna admitted: ‘I spent a good first chunk of it just thinking they’d completely miscast me.

‘Why on earth me? I’m not a mother. It was something so, well, primal that I haven’t literally experienced. And I have really struggled with that.’

However they went their separate ways in 2020, with it reported at the time the pair were ‘terribly sad’ by the end of their relationship, with the actress moving into her own pad and they reportedly attempted to ‘salvage a friendship’.

Before Tom, Jenna was in a relationship with Game Of Thrones star Richard Madden, dating on and off for four years after getting together in 2012.
