A woman who accused Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs of drugging and raping her when she was 13 has been “emboldened” by alleged attempts to intimidate her, her lawyer said.
The anonymous accuser, now aged about 37 and living in Alabama, alleged in a civil lawsuit filed on Sunday that Jay-Z, who is married to Beyoncé, and Combs took turns sexually assaulting her at an after-party for the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in New York while an unnamed female celebrity watched.
Her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, originally filed the suit in October alleging that she had been assaulted by Combs and an anonymous high-profile figure, named only as “celebrity A”.
