Jay Blades, the BBC presenter, has been charged with controlling and coercive behaviour against his estranged wife.
West Mercia police said the host of The Repair Shop appeared at Kidderminster magistrates’ court earlier today and bailed to appear at Worcester crown court on Friday October 11.
According to court documents the charge relates to Lisa Zbozen, a fitness instructor, who announced on her Instagram page in May that the couple’s relationship was over.
Blades, 54, was arrested on May 3, the same day Zbozen made public her decision to end their 18-month marriage.
