The Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake entered the Japanese video game charts at No.1 this week shifting 115.649 physicals copies in the Land of the Rising Sun. To give a clearer sales picture X account Game Data Library has produced a chart showcasing how each game in the Paper Mario franchise has performed in Japan and it would appear as though retail launch sales for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door are slightly higher than Paper Mario: The Origami King which is also for Nintendo Switch and shifted 109.092 copies.
