‘Iska kuch asli hai bhi’ Fans troll Hardik Pandya for using body double to ‘fake’ fitness

Must read

Hardik Pandya is regarded as one of the best all-rounders of this generation. His skills with both bat and ball make him one of the first picks in India’s white-ball teams.

Despite being such a crucial member of the Indian cricket team, Hardik Pandya often finds himself at the receiving end of heavy trolling on social media for different reasons.

After getting booed by fans during the IPL for taking up Mumbai Indians captaincy, Hardik Pandya was bashed after his divorce rumours with wife Natasa Stankovic went viral on social media.

People, who keep on looking for reasons to criticise him, have found another reason to launch a verbal diarrhoea. An old video of Hardk using a body double during a commercial shoot has gone viral on social media.

Currently in the USA for the T20 World Cup 2024 with the Indian cricket team, he played a vital role in India’s comprehensive eight-wicket win over Ireland in their opening match in New York.

Hardik Pandya didn’t get to bat but his bowling spell of 3 for 27 runs in four overs helped India bowl out Ireland cheaply, setting the stage for the side’s easy win.

Despite producing numerous match-defining performances over the years, the Baroda all-rounder, who is known for his flamboyance, has received heavy criticism for different reasons. Sometimes more than what he deserved.

One of the biggest complaints that  fans have with the fast-bowling allrounder is that he is highly susceptible to injuries. Fans have accused him of prioritising club over country, saying he gets injured on national duty but recovers in time to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Injuries are parts and parcel of any professional athlete’s life. They have to live with it.

Afraid of getting injured, the players can’t stop diving on the field. All they can do is make sure that they don’t exert unnecessary pressure on their body when they are not playing, especially during a commercial shoot.

Hardik Pandya was doing the same, and instead of praising him, the fans are bombarding him with negative comments.

These people are not Indian cricket fans but trolls, who get their dopamine by pulling others down.
