Intrepid Travel has created a guide to help agents understand and sell sustainable travel trips.
The 12-page handbook, called ‘How to be a champion of change: An agent’s guide to understanding sustainable travel’, features facts, myths, definitions and destination case studies to ‘help agents demystify and talk about sustainability with their clients’.
Intrepid Global Environmental Impact Manager Dr Susanne Etti said: “We created this handbook after hearing from travel agents that there’s a lack of resources available that break down what sustainable travel actually is and to empower them to then explain this to their customers. Agents truly have the power to influence their clients’ choices and we want to help them be the best that they can be and to make a difference.”
