A new women’s clothing shop is opening in Bath this week. Albaray – which prides itself on its eco-friendly approach to fashion – will be launching its second shop on New Bond Street on Saturday, May 25.

Albaray Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Paula Stewart said: “As we continue to grow the brand, including our online and offline approach I couldn’t be more excited to open our second physical store. Bath offers a fantastic opportunity; and I can’t wait to get to know the local community and introduce them to Albaray”.

Fellow Co-Founder and Creative Officer Karen Peacock added: “As a brand, we believe fashion should be effortless, inspiring, offer versatility and be made responsibly, and we are excited to share this vision with the community in Bath. The area has an excellent local scene and energy which we can’t wait to be part of”.

The expanding brand only opened its first physical shop last December in Chichester. Their clothes have been sold by retail giants like John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, and NEXT.

Their unique name was inspired by the Spanish word for sunrise (alba), along with hope represented by a ray of light (ray). Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer Kirstie Di Stazio reflected on the brand’s new Bath venture: “Albaray celebrated its 3rd anniversary in March and being able to open our second store highlights the significant progress the brand is making. Growing our store portfolio is a key ambition and we are thrilled to be opening in such a popular and historic city”.

Albaray describes itself as “Thoughtfully Designed, Responsibly Made”, says it has a “carbon-neutral approach” and uses sustainable materials in its clothing. The new shop will open on 24 New Bond Street this Saturday.
