Sienna Miller detailed her indulgent babymoon with boyfriend Oli Green as she reflected on her pregnancy.
The actress, 42, welcomed her second child – and first with Oli – in January, a baby girl whose name they have not revealed.
Prior to giving birth, the Hollywood star enjoyed a stay at Soneva Fushi, a luxury 5-star island hideaway in the Maldives, setting off at the last possible moment at 32 weeks along – able to travel so late because of her ‘easy’ pregnancy. Most commercial airlines accept pregnant travellers up to 36 weeks along.
The luxury resort is a favourite among celebrities, loved by the Beckhams and serving as the idyllic backdrop for Jamie and Jools Oliver to renew their wedding vows.
Writing about her stay in The Sunday Times, Sienna revealed that her pregnancy cravings that time around were Wotsits and Galaxy Smooth Caramel and she treated herself to chocolate and ice cream for breakfast after landing in the Maldivian capital, Malé.

Having decided not to buy maternity clothes – instead just buying jeans in bigger sizes – she spent the entire trip wearing a bikini and a sarong and ‘wafting around in kaftans.’
During their relaxing trip, the pair made the most of her luxurious facilities on-site, spending time at the spa, enjoying a sunset dolphin cruise and having dinner cooked by a private chef.
She was also able to indulge in one of her favourite dishes, sushi, explaining: ‘I love sushi and know you’re not meant to eat it when you’re pregnant, but we knew it was fresh out of the sea so I did tuck in.’
NHS guidelines state that pregnant women should ‘avoid ready-to-eat cold-smoked or cured fish because it could be contaminated with listeria bacteria.’
While the couple had jetted off to enjoy some quality time before welcoming their new arrival, the prospect of becoming a new dad was something Sienna wanted Oli to be prepared for.
The pair took part in a bespoke hypnobirthing course with a doula that focused on how to manage labour together as a couple.
Sienna explained: ‘I think men often go into new fatherhood with very little idea of how to manage the situation. They’re just expected to understand, so it was nice to have some guidance.
‘Our doula showed us the things Oli could do to support my birth and the pressure points and massage techniques that would help me.
‘There was lots of looking in the eyes, holding hands and him stretching me. In quite a hippy way, which I love, it was a bonding celebration and way of connecting with the baby.’
Oli still had time to let loose, however, with Sienna revealing that Chelsea fan Oli would play football with former Chelsea and England footballer Graeme Le Saux, who was at Soneva teaching football.

It’s also a favourite with the Beckham clan, who holidayed there with family friend Gordon Ramsay and family in 2018
Sienna’s column comes as she spends quality time with her eldest daughter Marlowe, 11, at Cannes.
On Sunday night, the youngster made her first ever red carpet appearance at the Film Festival, with her famous mother only showing her face for the first time in July 2020 in a spread for Vogue.
Sienna shares Marlowe with her ex Tom Sturridge, who she was in a relationship with from 2011 until 2015.
Marlowe looked the spit of her stunning mother, wearing a sweet pink dress with a large bow.
Beside them Oli looked typically dapper in a black suit, white shirt and navy tie, while sporting brown rimmed sunglasses.
The trio were in attendance for the premiere of Sienna’s latest film, Horizon: An American Saga premiere.
Sienna was soon joined by her co-stars on the red carpet, including the film’s co-writer, director, producer and lead star, Kevin Costner.
Horizon: An American Saga chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West.
Kevin plays pioneer Hayes Ellison in the new film, who treks the West through dangerous territory in hopes of a new life.
Sienna stars as Frances Kittredge in the period epic, which is set to be released in two chapters on June 28 and August 16 this year.
They mark the first two of four planned film instalments for the movie series, which Kevin has been desperately trying to bring to life for more than 30 years now.
