In one post, Maya showcased her toned body in a black unitard gym set while performing a handstand on a pilates reformer machine.

Ahead of the new series that began airing earlier this month, Maya posted gorgeous beach snaps from St Tropez and California, highlighting her flawless figure.

An exercise enthusiast, Maya has often spoken about the mental health benefits she gains from working out, in addition to the physical ones.

However, she recently confessed in an Instagram story about her struggle with gym consistency.

“So I’m trying to gain a stone and tone, lol, but I do three days in the gym, see a small result, then do f**k all for three weeks,” she wrote.

“Attempt 999999. At gym bunny.”

Despite these challenges, Maya balances her lifestyle by not being too restrictive.

She enjoys socialising at the pub, indulging in a glass of red wine in the evenings, and eating carbs.

To balance this, she incorporates daily HIIT (high-intensity interval training) classes into her busy schedule.

Maya’s personal trainer, Lucy Gornall, has shared some of the workouts that help Maya maintain her impressive physique.

While genetics play a significant role in body appearance, Lucy recommends exercises like Bicycle Crunches, Heel Taps, and Plank Hip Dips, advising 10 reps and 3 sets of each for a more defined waist.

For building muscle, Lucy advocates for progressive overload—gradually increasing the amount of weight lifted.

She suggests going heavy on resistance two to three times a week.

Lucy also emphasises the importance of maintaining a healthy balance and not being overly restrictive.
