A powerlifter turned pro-boxer has been accused of hacking into her ex-boyfriend’s laptop and sharing nude images of his girlfriend.
Stefanie Cohen Magarici, known as Stefi Cohen, was arrested in Miami on Tuesday and charged with sexual cyber-harassment, offenses against computer users, criminal mischief and resisting arrest without violence.
The 32-year-old Venezuela native, who boasts over a million Instagram followers, allegedly accessed her ex-boyfriend’s computer by trying commonly-used passwords.
Cohen then accessed his iCloud where found several nude images of her ex’s new girlfriend and posted them to a group chat the alleged victim was part of, according to court documents seen by NBC Miami.
He had reportedly left the computer behind when he left the home they shared in March 2022.
The alleged victim contacted police in November 2023, saying Cohen told her she was sending the images ‘with the purpose of exposing and humiliating her.’
Cohen was arrested at her Coconut Grove home as she walked outside, with police saying she tried to resist arrest.
According to the police report, Cohen ‘did not comply and began to walk at fast pace back to her residence.’
When police informed her she could not go back in the home, Cohen allegedly ‘stated she was not going with them and began to physically resist.’
After being placed in handcuffs, Cohen reportedly ‘tensed up her arms’ and ‘right leg hooked’ one of the officers, allegedly trying to ‘sweep him off his feet.’
Cohen continued trying to resist arrest after she was placed in the back of a squad car, per court documents.
Police say once in the patrol car, she ‘placed her right leg on the latch to unlock the door and grabbed it with her toes.’
Cohen then ‘pulled the latch with her toes and intentionally broke the locking system causing the door not to lock at all.’
The fitness influencer was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center but was released after posting a $3,300 bond.
She was told to stay away from both her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend.
Cohen, who has described herself as a 25-time world record powerlifter, has posted images with her new boyfriend Tristan Hamm over the last months.
Hamm, a boxer, has two million Instagram followers.
Cohen was previously in a high-profile relationship with another influencer, Hayden Bowe. However, it’s unclear if he is the same ex-boyfriend connected to the alleged victim.
According to Men’s Health, Cohen holds the all-time world records for the squat, total, and deadlift for the 123-pound weight class.
She’s scheduled to appear in court again on June 27.
