“I’m a fashion editor and these summer co-ords from Amazon look designer’

Must read

With balmy weather and summer holidays in the diary, it’s time to start thinking seriously about our summer wardrobes (if you haven’t already that is). Co-ords have been trending over the past few seasons and thankfully it seems they’re here to stay. If you struggle to put outfits together in the morning or are simply looking for a multi-functional outfit option to pack in your suitcase then I suggest you invest in a few more matching sets.

I personally am a big fan of a chic co-ord. I already own a few myself and I take them on every holiday with me every year. Why? Well, if you want minimal styling effort but to gain serious style points they’re already a put-together look so are basically the lazy girls’ way of nailing summer style – perfect, if like me, you’re always in a rush or running late. Plus, you can wear the separates with other staples in your wardrobe too, ensuring you’re getting your money’s worth.

I’ll let you into a little secret too, co-ords are also my go-to for travelling to the airport as they are not only comfy but cool and lightweight for when you arrive at your sunny destination. I am always on the lookout for new dreamy co-ords to add to my collection and I stumbled across Amazon’s affordable printed 2-pieces. This lemon print set, £23.77 here is ideal for my upcoming trip to Itay.

From days in the office to beach vacations, consider these easy breezy co-ords a must this summer whatever your shape and size. I particularly find loose-wide leg styles flattening on my curves so can’t wait to try this design.

Amazon describes their ‘boho lounge set’ as “super soft, stretchy and breathable, lightweight, comfortable and flowy for summer.” and the best part? You don’t have to purchase the items separately, so you’ll receive the shirt and trousers as a complete set for under £25, what’s not to love?

If fruity lemon prints aren’t your vibe, then you’re sure to find an alternative to suit your style as there are four other designer-esque patterns to choose from including this fab postcard print -it’s a big trend for the season.

The price tag is pretty unbelievable too. This particular design is available for £18.58 here and again features a loose-fit button-down shirt and stylish Palazzo trousers that won’t cling in the heat.

Looking for more style inspiration shoppers? The high street is my go-to when I want to update my holiday wardrobe as I like to hunt down designer-looking pieces for a lot less. Check out River Island for more stylish co-ords that won’t break the bank, I adore this ombre beach shirt, for £35 and matching trousers for £35 here and this 70s-inspired crochet co-ord for £70 here.

Happy shopping!
