The Radio One presenter became the second celebrity to be voted out of the jungle on last night’s episode.
While in the jungle Dean completed seven trials, two of which ended early because he shouted “I’m a Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here!” but as the season progressed Dean redeemed himself by winning 10 out of 12 stars in his last solo trial.
Upon his departure Dean told fans he was excited to watch back his favourite jungle moments.
“My first jungle highlight that springs to mind is probably – the gold dress, that night we danced around the campfire. Danny from McFly – oh honestly… I’m just going to keep watching that back and reliving that moment,” he said.
Despite fans speculating there was tension in the camp, Dean said he will miss all of his campmates.
“All of us just being sat round together, having fun. I will never forget it as long as I live,” he said.
Dean insisted he got on well with everyone in the jungle, saying he couldn’t pick a favourite.

“My first pick to be crowned king or Queen of the jungle, genuinely I know everyone says this but they’re all worthy winners. It’s so hard, it’s so hard. Crown them all!”
However Dean said he was glad he no longer has to face the dreaded trials.
“The first thing I won’t miss is fish guts,” he said.
Dean first encountered fish guts in the ‘Absolute Carnage’ trail with Colleen Rooney, when he was left to rummage through buckets and barrels of fish guts in search of mechanical tools before being coated in more fish guts and sludge liquids.
In another trial, ‘The Rank Bank’, Dean was left to remove three coins out of the fish guts deposit box using only his mouth.
Unfortunately, during this trial Dean managed to get the fish guts stuck in his veneers.
The presenter admitted he was most excited to get a trim after leaving the show.
“The first thing I’m going to do is get a skin fade. Have you seen this beard? It’s giving Tom Hanks, Castaway,” he joked.
Dean said he was ready to return to his home comforts.
“The first thing I want to eat is probably a bacon sandwich with brown sauce.
“The first thing I wanted to drink was a ginger beer and fresh lime and Ant and Dec got it all sorted for me and then I had a cup of tea and now I think I’m going to go back to the ginger beer and I’m just going to repeat that for the rest of the week,” he said.
