Presenters Ant and Dec are set to surprise the I’m A Celebrity campmates in tonight’s show (December 5) when they anounce that two stars will be leaving the jungle.
ITV confirmed to Express.co.uk that two people would be exiting camp tonght. The double eviction is sure to come as a shock to the stars who are edging ever closer to Sunday night’s final.
This is just the latest twist to be sprung on them following the most recent episode, where the eight remaining contestants competed to win a place on an immunity challenge from which only one will emerge victorious.
They were split into two groups and it was explained there would be two winners from each group who would then go head to head in Thursday’s trial to win a “golden ticket” through to the final.
This winner will not only avoid the next two eliminations but also secure a spot in the much-loved trial, Celebrity Cyclone.
Coleen, Danny, Maura and Oti won the most tickets in the trials and will therefore face each other tongiht in an attempt to win the coveted prize.
An advance clip of tonight’s show features the four going head to head in a challenge , which is the final hurdle to winning, the Ticket to Cyclone.
Tonight’s two evictees will join the list of those already eliminated. First out of camp was Loose Women’s Jane Moore.
She was followed by radio presenter Dean McCullough. N-Dubz snger Tulisa was the third star out of the jungle. Meanwhile Melvin Odoom was the fourth person eliminated.
Last night’s show didn’t feature an eviction, which will have lulled the stars into a sense of false security before Ant and Dec drop tonght’s bombshell.
The double eviction comes as a new favourite emerge for the first tme since this year’s show kicked off. McFly’s Danny Jones has consistently topped the betting but he has now been leapfrogged by Coleen Rooney.
Booking giants Ladbrokes now make Coleen just 10/11 to be crowned Queen of the Jungle while Danny Jones is now 11/10 in the betting.
Elsewhere, Richard Coles has dropped in favour and is now way out at 16/1, having previously been considered a firm frontrunner, while every other name is 20/1 or bigger.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Coleen is peaking at the perfect time in the I’m A Celeb betting, and for the first time since the series started, Danny is no longer favourite to go all the way.”
