Coleen Rooney took a playful swipe at her husband Wayne as she discussed his football managing career on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Wednesday.
The former footballer, 39, is currently the head coach of Plymouth Argyle after retiring from the game in 2017.
During a chat with her fellow campmates, Coleen admitted she feels ‘more pressure’ since Wayne switched from playing to managing.
Danny Jones took the chance to quiz Coleen on Wayne. Referencing his new role managing Plymouth Argyle football club, Danny asked: ‘Is he loving managing?’
Coleen responded: ‘Yeah, he does enjoy it, it’s hard though. I find it more nerve wracking him being a manager than I did… I feel more pressure.’
Barry Guigan said of Wayne: ‘Well, he was very mature very quickly wasn’t he, he grew up very quickly?’

To which Coleen replied: ‘Well, I don’t know about that!’ as the camp laughed in response.
Wayne slammed his Plymouth side following their 6-1 hammering against Norwich, as he claimed the club’s Under-18 side would have delivered a better performance.
Plymouth suffered their heaviest loss under Wayne at Carrow Road, with a Borja Sainz’s hat-trick helping the hosts to earn a comfortable win.
The Man United and England legend blasted his side post-match and suggested the club’s under-18 side would not have folded so easily.
‘We were nowhere near good enough – we are down to the bare bones with injuries but that is no excuse,’ he said.
‘But if players want to come in the team and stay in the team then they need to perform better than that.
‘We were fortunate to be only 2-1 down at half-time. You then hope for a reaction in the second half but once they made it 3-1 I thought we went under, which is very disappointing.
‘The players just didn’t look like they thought they could get back in it.

‘I could probably put the under-18 team out there and they wouldn’t concede six goals, so I’m very disappointed, angry, frustrated and the next 24-48 hours are not going to be very nice for the players.
‘But we need to really get to the bottom of why this is happening.’
The result leaves Plymouth two points outside the Championship relegation places, while the club are yet to win away from home this season.
The defeat was another heavy loss on the road with Wayne having also overseen a 4-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday and a 5-0 reverse against Cardiff.
It comes after Wayne appeared on I’m A Celebrity’s spin-off show Unpacked on Sunday night, where he spoke about Coleen’s stint.
‘It’s strange to be honest seeing her out there in the jungle,’ Wayne said. ‘She’s doing a great job showing her character and personality. She’s doing us all proud.’
The former England footballer added the viewers are getting to see the real Coleen.
‘She is a warm and caring person. It’s great to see her bridging the gap between the older and younger ones and settling in.’

The couple have been married 16 years have four sons; Kai, 15, and Klay, 11, Kit and Cass
When asked how much he and their four boys Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, and Cass were missing her, Wayne admitted it’s been tough.
‘It’s the longest I’ve been without speaking to her since we were kids,’ he revealed.
Wayne also gave an insight into how the family are helping look after their four sons as he works away in Plymouth, while the boys are based in Cheshire.
He said: ‘Coleen’s parents are helping out massively. I’m over in Plymouth with work, so we’ve got a good team looking after the kids, but yeah, we’re missing her.’
Wayne added he hoped to see Coleen take on one of the show’s infamous challenges saying: ‘I’d love to see her doing a trial. That’s what going out there is all about – testing yourself.
‘She’d be really good at the trials, and it would be great for her to have that experience.’
The football legend also confessed he and the rest of the family are huge fans of the show and that he wouldn’t mind making an appearance.
‘We watch it most years when we can. The celebrity version is the one we always said we’d do.
‘Maybe I’d try it one day if I’m not working, but it’s not possible right now.’
