A savvy shopper has revealed her secret to scoring the most impressive Too Good To Go bags after bagging an “unbelievable” selection for under a fiver.
Too Good To Go, the innovative app that helps reduce food waste by connecting customers with businesses that have surplus items, offers mystery bags at a fraction of the original price, often leading to some incredible finds.
Manchester-based TikToker Shauna Smith, who boasts more than 12,000 followers, couldn’t contain her excitement over her recent Asda haul, which cost her just £4.40. She said in a recent video: “I’m not even exaggerating, I was so excited that I had to pull over on the side of the road to look at what’s in it, and video it, because I physically couldn’t wait until I got home.”

The contents of Shauna’s bag were nothing short of a feast. She scored a ham and cheese sandwich, an egg and cress sandwich, a 12 piece snack selection, chicken goujons, a chicken and stuffing sandwich, pitta breads, bread rolls and some fridge raiders. “That? Unbelievable, unbelievable!,” she remarked.
Determined to keep the bargains coming, Shauna plans to visit the same Asda “every day” for more Too Good To Go treasures. She also let slip a tip for fellow bargain hunters, suggesting that supermarket Too Good To Go bags tend to be “better” than those from cafes and restaurants.
In response to Shauna’s video, which has garnered more than 2,000 views, TikTok users shared their favourite picks from Too Good To Go in the comments section. One user wrote: “I love Too Good To Go, even better when I can grab the Greggs and Costa ones.”
Another person chimed in: “When I was pregnant, I went through a stage of being obsessed with these. I haven’t got one in a while, this was my sign.” And a third user said: “Omgggg wow! ! Didn’t know these exist.”
