The millionaire who lives alone in one of Scotland’s most imposing and expensive properties has revealed why he is now looking to sell it for £8 million.
David Fam bought Seton Castle, near Longniddry in East Lothian, two years ago after falling in love with the opulent property “at first sight”.
However, Fam decided earlier this year to part company with the 18th-century Georgian castle’s 13 bedrooms, five bathrooms and numerous sitting rooms, drawing rooms and reception areas.
