Huw Edwards has split from his TV producer wife, according to reports, as he prepares to face criminal charges for allegedly making indecent images of children.
Edwards, 62, has moved out of the family home in Dulwich, south London, which he previously shared with Vicky Flind, who produces Robert Peston’s ITV programme, according to The Sun. The couple, who are not thought to have divorced, have five children together.
The Sun cited court documents that have been published before the former BBC newsreader’s appearance at Westminster magistrates’ court on Wednesday to face the three charges, which relate to images shared on WhatsApp.
The documents show that Edwards is living at an address in Wandsworth.
