DISGRACED Huw Edwards was yesterday being erased from BBC history as bosses pulled footage of him during the Queen’s funeral — and on a show with schoolchildren.
Other programmes the former news anchor appeared in — including Doctor Who — have been removed from the broadcaster’s services including iPlayer.

Edwards, 62, hosted School Report — where secondary school kids made their own news bulletin — until 2017.
Yesterday episodes showed a message saying: “Sorry this clip is not currently available.”
Some coverage of the late Queen’s funeral fronted by Edwards has also been removed.
It was unclear yesterday when it was taken down.
Edwards hosted the coverage of the State Funeral in September 2022 and also the April 2021 presentation of Prince Philip’s funeral.
BBC social media clips featuring him have also been deleted from Facebook and Instagram.
But the announcement of Her Majesty’s death, made by the former News at Ten host on September 8, was still on iPlayer yesterday.
A 2006 Doctor Who episode, which features Edwards as part of a fictionalised BBC news report has been removed.
The BBC said: “As you would expect, we are actively considering the availability of our archive.”
BBC chiefs previously removed their footage of paedophile host Jimmy Savile.
Edwards is also facing losing seven Bafta awards, it was revealed yesterday.
Bafta said: “Given the seriousness of this abhorrent crime, we’re reviewing.”
The ex-news anchor arrived at Westminster magistrates’ court last Wednesday in shades before pleading guilty to accessing child abuse images.
He was sent 41 child abuse images by paedo Alex Williams, 25.
