How To A Rare GTA Online License Plates This Christmas – RockstarINTEL

In GTA Online during this holiday season, there were meant to be two rare license plates up for grabs and we’ll be showing you how to get them. However, their is a strange catch where Rockstar Games messed up so only one is actually possible which we’ll get into.

GTA Online’s current Event Week (running from December 19th 2024 through January 1st 2025) features two Salvage Yard Robberies offering big rewards. Complete them and come away with a super great deal on a car and rare license plate.

Each week, Rockstar Games rotate the Salvage Yard Robbery missions with three options plus the vehicles you need to grab. Claimable vehicles are few and far between and and ones with plates are also rare. We’ve had a few this year such as the Liberty City plate, Las Venturas plate and LS Panic plate. Now this week two are returning, well, one works, at least.

Salvage Yard Robberies This Christmas

Here’s a quick list all of the available robberies and the cars with plates featured in them for this Christmas:

• The Gangbanger Robbery: Lampadati Cinquemila
• The Cargo Ship Robbery: Pfister Comet Safari with LS Car Meet Plate (Claimable)
• The Podium Robbery: Vapid Clique with LS Pounders Plate (Claimable)

What Are The Special Plates

Los Santos Pounders/LS Pounders are a football team within the GTA universe. The team’s colours are black, white and yellow. These are represented on the plate itself. This plate was in the files and remained unused for years. Finally it can be obtained.

A red and white design, this plate has the LS Car Meet logo and text at the top.

How to get the LS Pounders and LS Car Meet Plates

If you do The Podium Robbery or The Cargo Ship Robbery you’ll be able to claim the car part of those job. This is a rare occurrence in GTA Online lets you make the car your personal vehicle upon completing a robbery.

The Podium Robbery car this week is the Vapid Clique featuring the LS Pounders plate. This car usually costs $909,000 from Legendary Motorsport but doing this robbery means you can make it your personal vehicle for $20,000.

Now for where things get very strange. The Cargo Ship Robbery car this week is the Pfister Comet Safari with the LS Car Meet plate. This car usually costs $710,000 from Legendary Motorsport but doing this robbery means you can make it your personal vehicle for $20,000. Whilst that’s a great deal, the rare and bigger pull is the LS Car Meet plate.

There’s one small oversight Rockstar made here. The Pfister Comet Safari does not have a license plate option… that means you can claim the car but the plate is, well, not there. Rockstar Games told fan sites last night it would be a claimable plate on the Comet Safari but evidently, this is not possible.

That said, there is a way to halve the cost further on either vehicle. If you own a Document Forgery office, you’ll pay just $10,000 of GTA cash for each vehicle instead of $10k. The business does not need to be active to unlock the 10k price, just simply purchased.
