HOME Bargains has issued an urgent recall for eight products and has warned its customers not to use them due to safety fears.

The discount retailer has issued the notices for a range of products from allergy eye mist to youngsters’ toys.

The safety concerns vary due to the products affected as the high street store has announced a significant recall.

Those warnings can be found on the company’s website and details why each of the products has cause for concern.

Anyone who finds they have purchased a recalled item, they can usually return it to the store where they bought it for a refund.

However, customers may have to undertake additional steps depending on the type of product and whether it has been used.

The eight items are:

Optivive Allergy Eye Mist – Soothing 10ml

Em Pharma is urging customers to stop using its Optivive Allergy Eye Mist – Soothing 10ml with expiry dates 02/2026 and 04/2026.

This is due to potential contamination and is a precautionary measure.

Customers can contact EM Pharma customer careline at quality_email@empharma.co.uk for a full refund or return the product to their local Home Bargains.

Customers who have used the product and are suffering symptoms of an eye infection, including reduced vision or a red, painful eye, should seek medical advice immediately.

My First Drop and Roll Tower

Manufacturer TJ Morris Ltd is recalling its toy for infants  sold through Home Bargains and Quality Saves stores due to a “potential risk of choking”.

This is because the rattling balls inside the toy are smaller than health standards dictate.

Parents are urged to stop using the toy and return it to the retailer they purchased it from for a full refund.

Pifco Convector Heater with Turbo and Timer

This product recall by TJ Morris Ltd is due to a risk of overheating and fire.

This is because some heaters have an incorrect fuse size, making the product more hazardous.

Customers who purchased certain heaters from Home Bargains or Quality Save between November 1 and December 12 last year are being urged to stop using them immediately.

Saugatuck Brewing Co is recalling all of its Neapolitan Milk Stout 355ml and Blueberry & Maple Stout 355ml due to an undeclared allergen.

This could pose a health risk for those with an allergy or intolerance to milk or oats.

Revels 205g Slimpouch

Mars Wrigley UK has recalled Revels 205g Slimpouch with Batch Codes 344G2SLO00//345B1SLO00 and expiration dates: 27.10. 2024 03.11.2024 sold through Home Bargains.

This is due to the potential presence of very small rubber pieces.

Chocomel 300ml bottles

Only the Best Before Codes: 07/11/2023 29/11/2023 are affected and customers who have bought these items and have an allergy or intolerance are urged not to drink it.

This is because excessive caffeine levels in the powder pose a risk to food safety.

Dri-Pak Table Salt 750g

The 750g drums of table salt by Dri-Pak with the batch codes: 3205//3206 are being recalled due to potential contamination with small pieces of plastic.

The manufacturer has apologised “for any inconvenience caused” but shoppers are urged not to eat the salt as this could pose a risk.
