Hezbollah says its fighters have launched attack drones at an Israeli military base near the northern city of Haifa, in response to the regime’s “barbaric” invasion of Lebanon.

In a Sunday statement, the Lebanese resistance group said it had “launched an air assault with a squadron of attack drones on the maintenance and rehabilitation base south of Haifa.”

Hezbollah said that its drones hit “their targets accurately.”

The attack, it said, was carried out “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip… and in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the barbaric “Israeli” invasion of cities, villages and civilians.”

In a separate attack, the resistance fighters “targeted gatherings of “Israeli” enemy soldiers in the settlement of “Baram” with a rocket barrage.”

Hezbollah also targeted another gathering of Israeli forces in “Khallet Shoeib, east of the town of Blida, with artillery shells,” according to the statement.

Israel launched its devastating attacks against Lebanon’s capital Beirut on September 23, killing hundreds of people, including women and children.
