For the first time, sirens were also heard in the Krayot region near Haifa. Meanwhile, an alert was sounded in the Arava, following a suspected infiltration of hostile aircraft. The Home Front Command announced the cancellation of school from Haifa northward.

On Sunday morning, for the first time, rocket alert sirens sounded in Kiryat Bialik and two homes in the community were damaged, Thee people were lightly injured and others were seriously injured.

Following the sirens that sounded between 6:24 a.m. and 6:32 a.m. and between 6:52 a.m. and 07:00 a.m. in numerous areas in northern Israel, approximately 85 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory, according to the IDF. Some of the projectiles were intercepted, and fallen projectiles were identified in the areas of Kiryat Bialik, Tsur Shalom, and Moreshet. Israel Fire and Rescue Services were currently operating to extinguish numerous fires that were ignited in the area.

In Kiryat Bialik, a two-story residential building was damaged and several vehicles, police forces and fire crews are working on the scene. MDA teams evacuated three wounded from shrapnel to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, including a 70-year-old man in moderate condition, and a 70-year-old man and a 16-year-old woman, in light condition, and also provide medical treatment to those suffering from anxiety and those who were injured on their way to protected areas in the city.

A rocket hit the yard of a house in the community of Moreshet in the Lower Galilee. Much damage was caused to the property, with no casualties reported. Police and sappers are scanning the area to remove any risk to the public.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for firing rockets into several areas in the north, and stated that it had sent Fadi missiles to Ramat David and dozens of rockets targeting the Rafael defense contractor building north of Haifa, in response to the attack on the pagers and walkie talkies. The Al-Mayadeen network claims that this is the first time that missiles of this type have been used since October 8. “Hezbollah in this initial attack did not use accurate missiles,” sources in the network affiliated with the terrorist organization were quoted. “These missiles were not affected at all by the enemy’s attacks.”

Around 10 rockets were fired from Lebanon in the first overnight attack (Saturday to Sunday) targeting the Ramat David Air Base. Sirens blared at 1:10 a.m. in dozens of communities in northern Israel, from Kafr Manda to Afula, Yokneam Illit, Nof Hagalil, Kiryat Tivon, Mishmar HaEmek, and Ramat Yishai. Hezbollah claimed responsibility, stating it launched “dozens of Fadi-1 and Fadi-2 rockets” at the air base in response to “Israeli strikes in Lebanon that killed numerous civilians.”

More than three hours later, shortly before 5:00 a.m., additional sirens sounded in Yokneam and communities across the Jezreel Valley as around 15 more rockets were launched, most of which were intercepted. At 5:10 a.m., a third barrage targeted northern Israel, triggering sirens in Shfaram, Nof Hagalil and Nazareth.

The fourth barrage shortly before 6:30 a.m. also set off alerts along the coastline and Haifa Bay.

The Home Front Command announced a change in instructions from 6:00 a.m. and the cancellation of classes from Haifa to the north.

Before the second barrage, alarms were set off warning of the intrusion of a hostile aircraft in several areas in the southern Golan Heights. According to the IDF spokesman, these are several “suspicious aerial targets” that made their way into the country from the direction of Iraq and they were successfully intercepted. It was also reported that the targets did not cross into Israeli territory and there were no casualties in the incident.

In total, in the first three barrages, about 25 rockets were launched, some of which are estimated to have been aimed at Ramat David. In addition, two UAVs from Iraq were intercepted outside the country’s borders. The IDF carried out extensive waves of attacks in Lebanon, attacking about 300 targets, most of them from launchers that include thousands of launchers aimed at the north.

After the barrages, and at the end of a situation assessment, the Home Front Command announced the change in instructions , ordering that no classes can be held from Haifa to the north. Workplaces can be maintained if there is a protected space nearby. Prior to the new instructions, many municipal authorities announced the cancellation of classes, including Migdal Ha’Emek, Acre, Nahariya, Ma’alot and Haifa.

Meanwhile, the IDF canceled Sunday’s scheduled draft day.
