This afternoon, the couple were greeted by Vice President Francia Márquez, Minister of Culture Juan David Correa, and the Director of CNA Xiomara Suescún for a special cultural event highlighting the artistry of Bogotá at the Centro Nacional de las Artes Delia Zapata Olivella (CNA).

Opened in March 2023, this cultural complex has quickly established itself as a vibrant epicenter of the arts, uniting three significant stages: the Colón Theatre, the Delia Zapata Olivella Room, and the Fanny Mickey Experimental Room. Known affectionately as ‘El Delia,’ CNA honors Colombia’s rich cultural diversity and aims to expand its influence across various artistic disciplines both continent-wide and globally.

The occasion provided Prince Harry and Meghan with a rich artistic tour through Colombia’s diverse regions and history, featuring four distinct segments that showcased the nation’s cultural heritage. The couple’s experience began with a theater performance, musical performance and Carnaval de Pasto dance performance in the neighboring plaza. Each artistic showcase was meant to highlight the past, present, and future of Colombian culture and how CNA is working to build a more inclusive creative community within Bogotá and beyond.

The couple are grateful for the warmth and hospitality shared by Vice President Márquez, the performers and the greater Bogotá community.
