Helldivers 2 developer, Arrowhead, has recently provided a significant influx of buffs in two updates. One of these updates landed in September, meanwhile, the other landed just recently. Arrowhead has previously stated that not everything can always be included in the patch notes, and a Helldivers 2 leaker has uncovered a huge secret buff.
There is a lot for HD2 players to anticipate. The release date for Liberty Day is imminent, meanwhile, the arrival of the Illuminate could possibly be near, too. Leaks have also revealed more exciting clan details, and HD2 could possibly be getting a Destiny-like addition sometime in the future.
While we’re eagerly anticipating Liberty Day, we still have a few more days to wait. Right now more details have been uncovered about the most recent update including a huge secret buff.
Helldivers 2 leaker uncovers secret buff for Airburst Rocket Launcher
In Helldivers 2 update 01.001.104 patch notes, Arrowhead listed the following buff for the Airburst Rocket Launcher:
- Reload duration reduced from 7 to 5 sec
However, according to leaker Exhillious on the Helldivers subreddit, the above change isn’t entirely accurate. Per the leaker, the reload speed buff is “closer to 4.9s -> 3.7s due to reload cancelling”.
While the above is good to know, Exhillious has also uncovered a secret buff as relayed on YouTube by Glitch Unlimited. According to the leaker, the “bomblets share a damage ID with frag grenades. This means each bomblet went from doing 250 damage -> 500 damage”.
Lastly, the leaker reveals that “this is a total damage of 4250 for the direct hit + bomblet direct hits + rocket AoE (this hasn’t changed) and 12500 damage from the bomblet AoE (up from 6250)”.
