Kai, born and raised in Chandler’s Ford, won the show with RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Tayce, who was the first drag artist to participate on Strictly.
The duo received a perfect score of four 10s for their cha-cha to 100 Degrees by Kylie and Dannii Minogue.
The infamously-harsh Craig Revel Horwood was full of nothing but praise for the dance, calling it “absolutely fierce, serving realness, serving fabulous.”
Winners were determined after combining the studio audience’s votes with the judges’ scores, and Kai and Tayce managed to do enough to impress both.
Kai will also swap sequins for camping equipment next month as he participates in Celebrity Hundred on January 5.
