A car we see in the GTA 6 trailer looks just like one Rockstar Games just added to GTA Online’s weekly update rotation. The company did their usual Event Week update on Thursday and a fan noticed something that seems far to close to GTA 6 than to just be a coincidence.
Each week, one of the things Rockstar change are the 5 cars at Simeon’s Auto Shop showroom. The paint jobs and liveries are also different. You can test drive and purchase the vehicles on display. This week has the Annis Hellion, Declasse Tulip, Dewbauchee Exemplar, Pegassi Vacca & Übermacht Zion Classic in the showroom. You can find out what else was part of the new and current Event Week here.
Now the Declasse Tulip is a car we see in the GTA VI trailer being driven by Jason and Lucia. It is red with black stripes. The only real difference is the one seen in the trailer has a black soft top looking roof which is not in GTA V or GTA Online. This is quite a simple colour scheme but it is also the same one seen in the GTA VI trailer. This tease or coincidence was spotted by GTA Forums user Not Strauss Zelnick (great name by the way). You can see a side-by-side comparison of the two cars below.
Personally, this kind of tease makes far more sense than the elaborate number crunching theories we’ve had come up recently. It’s in-game, done by Rockstar and subtle. It does not confirm a release date or trailer 2 but a nice reference for those who notice it. I’d like to see Rockstar do more of these in GTA Online. It’s good fun.
GTA 6 Trailer Release Date Confirmed?!
Despite what was said above, some users on the GTA Forums noticed the license plate’s numbers. It ends with 301 so a couple of users joked this means trailer 2 is coming on January 30th. Some people will no doubt start taking this a little more seriously.
At the moment, there is no real indication when a trailer will come aside from using their business patterns with Take-Two. The next earnings report is scheduled for February so there’s a fair chance we’ll hear something close to the report. All of the important dates you need to know for Rockstar Games in 2025 can be found here.

In other GTA VI news, a more higher quality version of the first trailer has been found gifting us more details to zoom in and take a look at. You can check it out here. Plus, the game is now expected to make $3.2 billion in revenue and there was even what appears to be a leak from inside one of Rockstar’s offices.
