The ghostwriter of Gregg Wallace’s 2012 memoir has accused the MasterChef host of sexually harassing her.
Shannon Kyle, who was 35 at the time, said Wallace answered the door to her wearing a towel, which he later dropped, made “revolting” sexual comments and touched her inappropriately.
Kyle’s allegations about Wallace’s behaviour when she was working on his Life on a Plate memoir emerged hours after John Torode, his MasterChef co-host, described the TV star’s alleged behaviour as “truly upsetting”.

Kyle told BBC’s Newsnight that she was speaking out to highlight Wallace’s “predatory” behaviour which she considered has been minimised by some as just “cheeky barrow-boy humour”. Lawyers acting on behalf of Wallace rejected the latest allegations, which follow complaints from many women about groping and
