The time it takes to cross it might surprise you!
Grand Theft Auto fans are still waiting for Rockstar Games to release new marketing materials for Grand Theft Auto VI. The game has been elusive, with only one official trailer released last year. However, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating and marketing the game within the community. One fan even tried to showcase how much larger GTA 6 will be compared to the last installment.
It’s not going to be surprising to see Rockstar Games top Grand Theft Auto V in a variety of areas. We’re expecting a bigger and better experience. However, we’re still waiting for more marketing materials to be released in order to know just what Rockstar Games has put into this title compared to the previous entry. That said, there was a potentially map for the next game, and one fan decided to highlight just how much larger the map is compared to the map from GTA 5.
Thanks to Dexerto, we’re learning of a fan named Dark Space who highlighted the map size by flying the same helicopter across the map for Grand Theft Auto V and then the map for Grand Theft Auto VI. With GTA 5, the helicopter reaches the end of the map in a little over three minutes. However, the supposed GTA 6 map takes Dark Space over six minutes.
That’s quite a bit larger, and we’re hopeful it’s filled with some unique areas to explore. But again, we’re left waiting for that next trailer to show a little more of the map. Meanwhile, a former Rockstar developer suggests that there is a good reason why the studio is holding out from sharing another trailer with fans. You can read more about that right here. With the year quickly coming to an end, we are certainly hopeful that 2024 will see one official trailer released.
