Good Morning Britain revealed a hosting shake-up on Thursday as an ITV presenter disappeared from screens – with another absence scheduled for tomorrow.
Thursday’s episode of GMB saw Susanna Reid joined by Martin Lewis – replacing her usual co-host Richard Madeley.
In the episode, Martin, 52, whose presence was announced by Susanna on Wednesday, gave his top tips to pensioners to get around Labour’s controversial winter fuel allowance cut.
He told viewers they may be eligible for pension credit worth near £4,000, and revealed that 880,000 pensioners are missing out.
Though Martin gave some great advice, there were mixed feelings among fans at his presence on GMB.

Susanna announced the swap at the end of Wednesday’s show, saying: ‘GMB is back tomorrow. Martin Lewis is joining me from 6am’
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, viewers wrote: ‘Oh Martin shut up, he means well but it’s too early’;

Meanwhile, Adil Ray, revealed he will be returning to GMB on Friday alongside anchor Kate Garraway, representing the second hosting swap in as many days.
Adil, 50, uploaded a snap showing him on the early morning show sofa with Kate, 57, taking the place of Robert Rinder.
Also in the photo were newsreader Charlotte Hawkins, entertainment reporter Richard Arnold, and weather presenter Laura Tobin.

It comes after Good Morning Britain star announced a lengthy break from ITV‘s flagship breakfast show as they said goodbye to viewers on Tuesday.
Weather presenter Laura Tobin told ITV fans that she will take a hiatus from her regular morning slot on the programme to have some downtime.
But her replacement, ex-EastEnders star Des Coleman, has left viewers split as some have threatened to ‘switch off,’ while others have enjoyed his ‘enthusiasm’.
