Must read

The 2025 Golden Globes are now a wrap and myriad beloved films and TV shows such as Wicked, Shogun, Baby Reindeer, and The Penguin all took home awards, while the likes of Moana 2, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Dune: Part 2 all came up empty.

Japanese historical drama Shōgun, alongside Spanish-language crime musical Emilia Pérez, won the night with a total of four Golden Globes each. Shōgun took home the award for best TV drama, plus best actor, supporting actor, and actress. Emilia Pérez won best musical or comedy, best non-English language film, best supporting actress, and best original song.

Colin Farrell, meanwhile, became the third comic book villain actor in history to win a Golden Globe, for his portrayal of the titular character in The Penguin. He joins Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix for their respective portrayals of The Joker. The full list of winners can be seen below.

Meanwhile, Demi Moore gave a moving speech as she accepted her first Golden Globe win for her critically-acclaimed performance in the body horror film, The Substance.
