POP princess Sabrina Carpenter has announced a huge show at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.
The Finnieston venue yesterday hinted that the American singer, 25, could be visiting as part of her Short n’ Sweet tour.
In a post shared on social media, the Hydro wrote: “I have a fun idea babe…tomorrow at 4pm BST”, followed by a kiss emoji.
Her highly-anticipated new album is set to be released on August 23.
She will take to the stage at the city‘s Hydro on March 11, 2025.
The OVO pre-sale will take place at 10am on Tuesday, July 23.
General tickets can be purchased at 10am on Friday, July 26.
The Espresso singer is proving the act of the summer, having topped the charts with her hot coffee-themed track, supported Taylor Swift on her Eras tour and been lauded by Adele.
Having been brought up by chiropractor mum Elizabeth and chef dad David in Pennsylvania, she was introduced to performing at a young age.
Her dad had been in a garage band, her mum was a dancer and Sabrina’s aunt Nancy Cartwright is famously the voice of Bart Simpson.
But neither of her parents ever became successful enough to know anything about showbusiness.
The family moved to Los Angeles so Sabrina could pursue her dreams in Hollywood.
Disney spotted her on-screen charisma and signed her up for a sitcom called Girl Meets World, a spin-off from the Nineties show Boy Meets World.
Sabrina is currently dating Irish actor Barry Keoghan who shot to global fame for his role in Netflix hit Saltburn.
The 31-year-old – who until recently lived in Dundee – has been linked with the Espresso singer since December 2023.
They were first spotted having a dinner date at a restaurant in Los Angeles around that time.
Since then, Sabrina and Barry have been repeatedly documented going on dates and nights together.
In March 2024, Barry was seen cheering on Sabrina during her set when she opened for Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour in Singapore.

On June 6, 2024, Sabrina released the music video for her single Please Please Please which featured Barry in a Bonnie and Clyde-type plot.
