Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo has reportedly faced allegations of “shocking and inappropriate behaviour” towards a woman over a five-year period.
The woman, who worked with D’Acampo between 2006 and 2011, has recently lodged a formal complaint with ITV bosses, The Sun claims.

The allegations come amid wider scrutiny of the broadcaster’s handling of workplace conduct, with the 48-year-old Italian chef already facing other claims about his behaviour on various ITV programmes.
The allegations are said to stems from the woman’s time working alongside D’Acampo on ITV’s flagship show This Morning, where he served as resident chef, and on Saturday Cooks.
A source close to the complainant claimed that D’Acampo, who was less well-known at the time, “said and did whatever he wanted”.

“He used to say he didn’t want to become famous as he would have to curtail his behaviour,” the source told The Sun.
The source alleged that “everyone was aware” of the behaviour to which the woman was subjected during this period.
According to sources, the woman was motivated to come forward following recent allegations against BBC’s MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace.
“She has come forward after being spurred on by the Gregg Wallace scandal and the comment he made about his accusers being middle-class women of a certain age,” the source told The Sun.
“Her view is she is the middle-aged woman who believes young women shouldn’t have to put up with this kind of behaviour any more,” the source added.
The allegations emerge amid reports that D’Acampo is being “slowly sidelined” by ITV following multiple claims about inappropriate conduct.
The chef has allegedly been removed from Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip after refusing to sign a morality contract clause.
ITV executives are also said to have required D’Acampo to attend a language and behavioural course.
Further concerns arose during filming of his show Emission Impossible with Sirieix, where D’Acampo is accused of jokingly flashing, which is said to have led to crew members being offered counselling.
In response to the allegations, an ITV spokesperson said: “We made our position clear following the outcome of our KC Review last year after which we said, we are completely committed to creating an environment where everyone is treated with respect and feels able to give of their best.”

The spokesperson added that ITV will investigate where complaints are made and “if we find that something inappropriate has happened, we will take action.”
The broadcaster has also introduced Conduct and Standards Guidelines for On Screen Personalities and offers training in language and behaviour where appropriate.
