Members of the public in a busy Galway city shopping centre were shocked this past weekend as two males were brought inside a store by security staff.
In a video seen by Galway Beo, two men can be seen being marched into a shop by three shopping centre staff members.
It’s understood that the incident took place on Sunday 16 June. One of the men can be heard shouting: “Innocent”, as he is brought into the shop past a group of onlookers. Galway Beo have contacted Gardaí for comment.

In other news, Galway gardai are chasing down a man wearing a balaclava after he was seen fleeing a serious crime scene this week.
An investigation has been launched following a break-in of two houses at the Hazel Park housing estate in the west of the city where a male wearing a balaclava was spotted fleeing the scene.
According to gardai, he was seen leaving the scene on a push bike following the incident, which occurred on Tuesday morning June 18 at around 1:40am.
A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said in a statement: “Gardaí in Galway are investigating the break-ins of two houses in the Hazel Park estate in Galway that occurred on the 18th of June, a Tuesday morning, at 1.40am.”
“A male wearing a balaclava was observed fleeing the scene on a push bike. Anyone who may have been in the area around this time are asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000 or the Garda confidential line on 1800666111.”
In a separate incident, the owners of a house in Ballygar returned home to find a number of males running from the private dwelling. Males fled from the back of the house, through the fields to a waiting Black Audi A4 car with a 06 DL Registration Number.
The incident happened between 1pm and 1:20pm on Tuesday June 11 at Cloonascarberry South, Ballygar, Co. Galway.
Anyone who may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone who may come across this Black Audi A4in the Ballygar area on Tuesday June 11 is asked to contact Ballygar Galway Garda Station on 091-6624512.
