It has been a couple of years since Samsung launched its first Galaxy Book with a Snapdragon chip. This year, though, the company will launch its first laptop—Galaxy Book 4 Edge—with Qualcomm’s flagship chip that aims to match Apple’s M series chips.
The Galaxy Book 4 Edge will likely be unveiled on May 20 during Microsoft’s special event.
Galaxy Book 4 Edge launch date and pricing
Yesterday, it was revealed that the Galaxy Book 4 Edge will be available in two sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch. Now, the pricing of both models has leaked. A Swedish retailer has listed both variants of the upcoming laptop on its website.
According to its listing, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge (14-inch) will have a starting price of SEK 20,956 ($1,952 or €1,791). The Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro (16-inch) is listed with a price tag of SEK 22,114 ($2,060 or €1,890). These prices are for 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variants of those laptops.
According to @TechKard on X, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge will be available for pre-order in the US from May 20 to May 16. The laptop is said to be available on June 17, 2024.

Galaxy Book 4 Edge specifications
According to previous reports, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge and the Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro feature Super AMOLED screens with 3K resolution and 400 nits peak brightness. The Galaxy Book 4 Edge has a 14-inch screen and a tenkeyless keyboard, while the Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro has a 16-inch display and a full-sized keyboard.
They both have stereo speakers, a backlit keyboard, and a large trackpad. The Galaxy Book 4 Edge might have a lower-end variant of the Snapdragon X Elite, while the Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro has the higher-end version of the flagship Snapdragon chip. Both laptops will run Windows 11.
They both have 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, two USB 4.0 (Thunderbolt 3) ports, a full-sized HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro has an additional USB Type-A port and a microSD card slot.
