MORE Scottish banks are set to shut their doors for good amid a raft of closures across the UK this week.
High street giants, including Bank of Scotland, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Halifax, and Barclays, are set to close more branches next week across the UK.

RBS is closing three branches in Scotland while TSB is closing three banks across here.
The Royal Bank of Scotland will close its Edinburgh branch on Nicolson Street on September 19 with its branch in Cumbernauld closing a day earlier.
It will also close its branch in Cardonald on September 17.
Meanwhile, TSB confirmed it will close branches in Edinburgh, Leven and Alloa.
It’s Edinburgh unit on Leith Walk will close on September 17, with its Leven bank closing a day later and finally on September 19 TSB will have closed its Alloa branch.
More than 1,000 branches have been earmarked for axing over the last 18 months as Brits struggle even more to access in-person services.
Banks and building societies have shut around 6,000 branches since 2015 — at a rate of 54 each month — to almost half the number of branches that existed a decade ago.
Since 2022 almost 1,500 branch closures have been announced, according to data from ATM provider LINK, with 174 further closures slated for the remainder of 2024.
Barclays has shrunk its network the most, with more than 1,100 branches closed, followed by NatWest, Lloyds and Santander, according to Which? data.
Closures can cause headaches for locals who have to travel further to access services or switch to alternative providers.
More than 40 branches will shut for good this month leaving customers, with no other alternatives nearby.

It comes as banks continue to shift their focus to online and digital banking in a bid to cut costs.
