Forza Horizon 4 gets massive discount ahead of Xbox delisting

Must read

If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber who is speeding through the Forza Horizon 4 achievements before it is removed from the service later this year, you may want to pick up a copy now, as Forza Horizon 4 has been heavily discounted ahead of its Xbox delisting. FH4 is one of the best Xbox racing games, so don’t miss out on a bargain.

Forza Horizon 4 discounted by 80% in Xbox Ultimate Game Sale 2024

In June, Playground Games announced that Forza Horizon 4 would be delisted from the Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass on December 15 due to licensing issues. At the time, the developer promised a big discount on the Xbox racing game, and now that discount has gone live as part of the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale 2024.

In the sale, prices of all three editions of Forza Horizon 4 have been slashed by 80%. Here are the new prices:

  • Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition – $11.99 / £10.99 / €14.22
  • Forza Horizon 4 Deluxe Edition – $15.99 /£13.99 / €18.29
  • Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition – $19.99 / £16.99 / €20.33

However, some Xbox users have received a special ‘Just For You’ discount on the Ultimate Edition, which reduces the price to just $10.00 / £8.50. It’s also worth checking your Xbox messages, as Playground Games was previously dishing out free codes for the game if you played Forza Horizon 4 through Game Pass, purchased a DLC for it, and had an “active, full-paid (not discounted) Xbox Game Pass subscription on June 25.”

From August, Playground says it will no longer be updating the Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 4, which means multiple achievements linked to the Festival Playlist will be discontinued. You’ll have one last shot at unlocking these achievements when the final Festival Playlist kicks off on July 25.

Forza Horizon 4 is currently included as part of the Xbox Game Pass Core library, so we could potentially see Forza Horizon 5 join the Core lineup once FH4 is delisted.
