A former manager at Five Valleys Shopping Centre is on course for a top business accolade.

Dionne Popplestone from Dionne Popplestone Ltd has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best New Business Category awards for women.

Dionne Popplestone Ltd is a virtual assistant agency providing a wide range of services to businesses, including admin support, email and social media management, and call handling to name a few.

Dionne said: “I am absolutely over the moon and feel so blessed to be chosen as a finalist in the Best Business Women Awards. My business has just turned 1 and to be recognised by a National award as prestigious as this one is amazing. I put my heart and soul into my work so this means the world to me.” 

The judging panel was impressed by the creativity, tenacity, and excellent business acumen demonstrated by the selected finalists. 

The Best Business Women Awards are designed to recognise the achievements of female entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries. All of them excel in their chosen fields and have demonstrated their impact in their entries, underscoring the significance of their achievements.

Debbie Gilbert, the organiser of The Best Business Women Awards, said: “This is the 10th year of these prestigious awards, and despite tough trading conditions businesses have faced over the past few years, these businesswomen have powered forwards. Our judging panel, all business experts, were impressed by the quality of the entrants. All our finalists are incredible examples of successful female entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges.”

The Gala Awards night will be held at the Hilton Syon Park in London on October 11thwhen the Gold Winners of each category will be announced.
