A group of football fans were seen fighting in Harrow, near Wembley before Manchester United and Manchester City’s FA Cup final.

Rival supporters brawled in the streets of north-west London as United prepared to take on City in the FA Cup final, just a few miles away at Wembley.

The fighting spilt out into the middle of the road at a bus stop outside a Wetherspoons pub and McDonald’s.

Punches were thrown from both sets of brawlers, with one shirtless fan sprawled out in the middle of the road.

Chants of ‘United’ could be heard from one set of fans, some who were seen wearing Red Devils shirts, after footage was posted on social media.

Traffic was brought to a standstill as a result of the melee as more fans piled in from across the road.

Bottles were also thrown into the fracas with fans throwing punches and kicks as pedestrians looked on.

Wembley was sold out ahead of the FA Cup final with 90,000 fans making their way to the stadium while many more have travelled down to London.

Pubs had been allocated to both sets of fans across north-west London but it has done little to prevent violence, which must be stressed is still a minority of fans.

Police had been concerned this weekend ahead of two big clashes at Wembley this bank holiday weekend with United and City on Saturday in the FA Cup final and Leeds and Southampton in the Championship play-off final.

United took the lead through Alejandro Garnacho in shock circumstances in the FA Cup final.

A defensive mix-up from Josko Gvardiol and Stefan Ortega saw Garnacho nip in and grab the opener as Lisandro Martinez had to pull him back.

Kobbie Mainoo then put United fans in dream land when he doubled the lead after completing a brilliant team move.

Jeremie Doku pulled one back but it was too late as United went on to win the FA Cup after beating City 2-1, their first FA Cup since 2016
