Firm spark Taylor Swift fan frenzy with one brilliant gesture

Must read

The Royal Family have shared an unusual video to their social media platforms this afternoon, as they appear to welcome US singer Taylor Swift to the capital.

The two-minute clip shows today’s Changing The Guard, with the Palace band playing a rendition of Taylor’s popular song ‘Shake it Off’.

Standing outside Buckingham Palace, the brass band perform in the summer sunshine to the crowds gathered outside the gates.

Sharing the video to social media, the caption read “Can’t stop, won’t stop groovin'” which are lyrics to the song.

Fans are super impressed by the version of the catchy tune, with many taking to social media to discuss the video.

One person wrote: “This may be my favorite tweet ever. Thank you!”

Another said: “I can’t stop groovin’ too, thank you.”

A third wrote: :I hope @taylorswift13 sees this….maybe pops in to do a singalong!”

It is unclear whether any members of the Royal Family are Swifties.

Taylor Swift is currently in the UK as part of her Eras Tour – and she’s performing her first London gig tonight at Wembley Stadium.

She’ll be performing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings before returning in August for a second set, having travelled to Europe for gigs in Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, Germany and Vienna in between.
